Hi Everybody :) I have been wanting to sit down and get this post done for weeks, but time just seems to fly by and I don't have enough of it! I have had several people ask me about my photos recently, so I have decided to share my good fortune to stumble upon some information about taking photos of small items like jewelry. I am so amazed at the difference between my photos now and photos before I discovered the Light box. What a wonderful tool this is, you don't have to wait for wonderful weather anymore nor do you have to have an elaborate set up to take your photos:) If you can find a sturdy cardboard box (1 to 2 foot square) and some tissue paper(or muslin material) and use a glue or a glue gun, it is going to take you 15 or 20 minutes to create one of the most wonderful tools for photographing your jewelry and small items. I personally use 3 lights, one at the top and one on each side of the box, but I have seen other people use just one bright light and it works out. My lights are just el cheapo clamp lights from any home improvement store and I have purchased "daylight" indoor spotlights to put in them.
I love this little gem so much, that I am going to get my hubby to build me one out of wood scraps and I will get some muslin and staple to the outside of it.
